Jay Harris now leads the business, but the experience behind Harris Decs stretches much further back.
Jay's grandfather worked in the trade, followed by his father, who still keeps an eye on the business and continues to get involved with the work. Jay himself has spent around 23 years working in painting and decorating.
In total, decorating has been part of the family for around 70 years.
That background has shaped how we approach the job today. Some things have changed over the generations, including materials, equipment and the types of projects we undertake, but the principles behind good work have not.
